Home Networks

While most people know what networks are, they never think that having one in their home is a practical or even useful idea.  But since a network is simply the linking if two or more computers or even devices through a network topography (sometimes USB and FireWire even count), it is something that you may already do, and is certainly quite useful.  For instance, if you have a home computer (tower) and a laptop, you will likely want to connect them, so as to avoid constant use of a USB thumb drive when you want to transfer files, or if you want to share a printer and do not want to constantly have to unplug and replug the USB cable to the printer.  If there are or could be three or more computers in your home, assembling a home network is actually very necessary, so that all computers can share the connection to the internet as well as to any devices.  The technical support desk at your ISP will not tell you how to do this, and it can be confusing.  (Sometimes your ISP does not even provide a wireless high-speed modem with their service!)  Fortunately, setting up a home network is easier than you think, and has recently become much less expensive to accomplish!  HCM! can set up your newtork for you in usually under an hour and get your computers and devices fully connected and shared across your new network!

How to set up your newtork depends solely upon what devices you want to connect ot it, and HCM! can install a home network in any configuration that suits your needs!  Two very basic flavors of home newtorks are wired and wireless, where the wired network uses ethernet cables (the wider phone jack looking connector, called RJ-45), and wireless, which of course does not use any cables.  Also, there are connecting devices known as "hubs" (or sometimes "switches" or "routers" depending on their functionality) which can connect between one or the other type, or both wired and wireless computers and devices.  These connect at various speeds, and which speed(s) you use depends on how you will use your network and on what computers and devices will be connecting to it.  HCM! has you covered no matter how you intend on using your network; you could say that I take the guesswork out of setting up your network!  Also I provide the fastest, most cost effective, custom tailored service in Tucson for doing so!

As far as determining your needs, when you email, call or contact me to get your network set up, we will review all your likely and possible uses for it and make a determination on what type of network will work best for your situation.  There is no cost for this service, unlike with some other companies in Tucson.  I can find you the least expensive networking equipment available anywhere, and you will receive it at cost with no extra fees or procurement charges!  All you pay extra is the standard rate for labor to set up your network, which usually takes under an hour, depending upon the complexity, locations of any needed wiring, and number of wired computers and devices being connected.  I can even make my own custom length ethernet cables at a greatly reduced cost, which can save you a ton of money!  Home network installation requires a house call, which are FREE in the Tucson metro area (unless you really wanted to install everything yourself)!

The standard rate of $70 per hour applies to the installation of all home networks, but with the Buddy's Deals 50% off discount which applies for home networking installations, you pay only $35 per hour to have your home network installed.  This is an unbeatable deal in Tucson, so what are you waiting for?  Your home network is not going to install itself, so email, call or contact me to make an appointment so we can get started discussing how to install that home network you have always wanted!
